Membership
The NSWSOA plays an important role in the formulation of all policy matters related to harness racing in NSW and Australia and represents the interests of its members directly to HRNSW.
Summary of Membership Benefits:
- Enables owners to have some influence on the direction of the industry particularly in relation to horse ownership. The larger the association the more clout we will have.
- Eligible for "Owner of the Month" award entitling winner to:-
Dinner for two(2) at Menangle. - Entities members to vote at our AGM and or become member of the executive.
- Members are eligible for bonus up to $1000 at participating clubs selected race meetings.
- Members are eligible for prize draws (Stallion Service, Accommodation and Dinner packages etc.)
- Entry and dinner for members and guest at annual NSWSOA Awards Night.
- 20% discount on Harness Racing International subscription (quote membership no when subscribing).
- 25% discount on Harness Racing Gazette subscription (quote membership no when subscribing).
- Special discounts or stallions located at Yirribee Stud, Peppertree Stud and Golden Gait.
- Special 10% discount from Gow Gates Insurance for owners association members.

The committee of the NSWSOA is in constant negotiations with race clubs and industry providers to increase the benefits available to members of the Association.
